Garcelle is from South Carolina. She talks about growing up in Rural America, modern segregation in the South, working with prisoners, founding her own non-profit and helping to elect the first black female Mayor in North Carolina. We also talk about the her Great-Grandmother being a slave and divisions in the African and African American community.
