Filmaker
Elvis León is an award-winning filmmaker living in Los Angeles. He traveled 120,000 miles during the pandemic, around the world 3 times! Now he is just trying to stay alive long enough to tell the tale.
Before this, he deployed to Iraq as a soldier for 15 months and came back with stories ready for the screen - he’s been filmmaking ever since. Elvis has directed many short films, his last project, Cecil & Carl screened at 50 international film festivals, and won 10 awards in the Best Documentary and Audience Award categories. In 2019, Elvis got a master's degree in War Studies at King's College London, while also working on his first feature film, We Are Lions, about his father's kidnapping and family's pursuit of justice. Elvis has mostly filmed the project and requires finishing funds to complete this true crime documentary
